In store this week: The third issue of the sellout Batman Beyond miniseries, part 2 of Paul Dini's "Heart of Hush" sequel in Streets of Gotham #15, the penultimate chapter of the JLA/JSA crossover "Dark Times" with Justice Society of America #42, two new Avengers title to keep Andy happy - New Avengers #3 and Secret Avengers #4 (the conclusion of the series' first story arc!) - and the second installment of the Messiah Complex sequel "The Five Lights" featured in the 40-page Uncanny X-Men #527.
For indie/small press fans, there is also Image Comics' Sweets #2 and Image United #3, Dynamite's reboot of the classic Lee Falk character in The Last Phantom #1 (with two covers by Alex Ross!), and shambling undead shenanigans galore with zombo-Western The Sixth Gun #3 and the similarly zombie-themed Ides of Blood #1 set in an alternate ancient Rome!
Do you love the band Tool? Guitarist Adam Jones and comics powerhouse Steve Niles are together scripting the X-Files/30 Days of Night series, the second issue of which goes on sale this week!
Finally, you may notice that Ross Haralson has contributed to this week's newsletter only in the role of editor - with the exception of Speculator's Space - but look for the debut of a brand new column from Ross in the next two weeks!

Before we get to the new releases, however, we have a very special announcement: beginning next week, Heroes customer and part-time staff member Anne Adamson will be joining the newsletter crew and taking over the "Small Press" column!
In store this week: The first issue of a brand new cycle for Hellboy-universe title B.P.R.D Hell on Earth - The New World, a new issue of the stellar Batgirl, the debut of the highly anticipated Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors series, the first installment of the latest volume of Joe Hill's Locke and Key (subtitled Keys to the Kingdom), and new issues for the Marvel sellout sensations Steve Rogers: Super Soldier and The Thanos Imperative.
Also, for H.P. Lovecraft fans in need of a good "fix" after reading last month's debut of Neonomicon from Alan Moore, make sure to check out the new Boom! Studios title The Calling: Cthulhu Chronicles. The series' second issue goes on sale this week, and we still have a couple of copies of last month's debut in stock!
